LinkXReader-ReDeads are scary!!

You pressed your back up against the wall, your friend beside you, Link, doing the same.

"I knew this a bad idea!"you shrieked .Link glanced at you from the corner of his large eyes.

"I didn't know that this would happen!"he cried. You turn your head fully towards him with wide angry eyes.

"Oh,Lets go into the stone temple _________. It will be fun _________. There's no way Redeads will possibly appear and trap us _________!"you shout. Link glared at you.

"Do you really need to do this right now?!"he asks. You nod.

"Yes. I. DO! Because now, we're going to die by having our brains eaten out by freaking Redeads!"you shout. Link was about to come up with a retort but the loud screech of the Redeads made his body freeze. He tensed up and began to tremble horribly. His eyes were locked on yours, both trembling. Link gulped.

"__-________.We may both die here today but I need to tell you that..-"Again Link was interrupted by the horrific sound of the Redead's screech. The sound shook both of you to the core.

"We're going to die here!"you cry, tears coming to your eyes. "There's still things I wanted to do!" Link stared at you then hesitantly, turned his attention towards the Redead on front of him. It's eyes red and bloodshot, it's large teeth showing as well as it's horrible decaying gums. It's head huge and swollen with it's long droopy earlobes. It was positively horrifying. Link stared at it, then eyed his sword that lay right behind it.

"I have to get to my sword."he mumbled to himself. Suddenly there was a thud and Link turned towards you. He gasped slightly at the fact that you had fainted in front of a Redead. You laid on the ground motionless as it approached you.

"Drat, really _________? At a time like this?" he murmured. The eerie screech of the Redead in front of Link drew his thoughts back to it. His little legs wobbled like jello and his arms too but he knew he had to get the two of you out of this. He had to overcome the fear. Link pursed his lips and glared at the Redead.

"Heeyaah!!"link yelled as he charged at the Redead. The Redead threw out it's arms in an attempt to grab Link ,but he quickly jumped to the ground and slid under it. Now he was successfully behind the Redeads. He smirked a bit at himself but quickly grabbed his sword and turned back to them.

He spied the Redead closest to you. That's the one he targeted first. Link ran at the Redead and swung his sword at it with all his might. He slashed the Redead, gaining it's attention and kept slashing until the foul beast had fallen to Link's feet. He sighed in relief but that was quickly cut short by something grabbing him.

Link winced as dull, hard teeth began to gnaw at his precious head. Oh the headache it gave him.

"Ow! Ow! Ow! Quit it!"Link wailed, quickly holding up his sword and running it through the Redead's thin abdomen. Soon ,the eyes of the Redead faded and it fell limply to the side, releasing Link.

"Phew..Hah! Biotches! I win!"he said, but winced slightly as his head pounded .He fell to one knee and held his head as he felt slight blood trickle out from under his golden locks. It startled him a bit but he didn't care. His attention was mostly on you now.

"_______!"he called, rushing to your aid."________! ________!"Link began to shake your shoulders lightly.

"Ngn..Link?"you groan, opening your eyes. Link smiled a wide grin.

"_________, you're okay."he breathes. You nod and sit up.

"Yeah but you aren't!What happened to your head?"you ask ,reaching up to feel the wound. Link winced a bit as you ran your fingers through his poofy bright hair, finding a cut.

"It was a Redead. It bit me.."Link says, sadly.You sigh and shake your head.

"What did I say about being a hero?"you ask as you rip a piece of your sleeve and pat Link's head. The boy winced a bit and blushed.

"Well who would have saved YOU from the Redeads?"he retorts. "Miss, I'm gonna faint right in front of one!" You blush and smack his head.

"S-Shut up goldie locks!"you snap.

"Ow!"Link wailed."______ careful! Injury! Remember!"You glare at him but sigh and continue patching up his injury.

"There, it's not too bad but you know it's not like you use your head that much so I doubt he damaged your small brain."you breath. Link glared at you.

"You know ______, I just saved your butt! I do believe a thank you is in order!"he snaps. You stand and place your hands on your hips.

"Huh? I would thank you if it WASn't your fault we were in this mess to begin with!"you yell.

"Well excuse me for wanting to show you the cool insides of the stone temple! Sheesh."Link growled. You cross your arms and look around.

"So how are we going to get out of here almighty hero?"you ask. Link smiled.
 
"We can use this to pull us up onto that ledge over there!"Link explained as he pulled out his grappling hook. He swung it around a couple times before tossing it at the ledge. He then pulled on it to make sure it was secure before turning to you.

"Alright, you can climb up first,i t's safe."he says. You blush.

"What? No way! I'm wearing a skirt you moron! You go first!"you say. Link stared at you.

"Seriously ________. Do you really think that looking up your skirt is the main thing I wanna do right now?"he asks sarcastically.

"Link! Climb the freaking rope!"you demand. He sighed in defeat.

"Alright, alright.Sheesh."Link grabs onto the rope tightly and starts to pull himself up; You follow suit. The two of you grunt as you pull with all your strength until you reach the top. Link climbed up first before turning around to pull you up.

"Great, now lets get out of here. This temple is giving me the creeps and I hate Redeads!"you say. Link nodded and rolled up his grappling hook, tucking it safely away.

"Alright.Well, lets go this way!"he says. You nod and walk closely beside him as the two of you walk down a way that was lined up with coffins. You gulp and hold onto Link's arm.

"I hate Redeads. I swear if I see another one, I'm going to scream!"you say. Link nodded in agreement.

"Yeah,they're pretty scary."he says.Suddenly,the two of you hear something fall behind you,causing you to freeze in place.Slowly,the two of you look over your shoulders to see the lid of a coffin fall over.You gulp.

"W-What was that?!"you ask.

"I think one of those coffins just opened up."Link whispers.

"Oh great,that can't be good!"you say. Soon the two of you hear it. That long eerie screech as a Redead emerged from it's abode. You and Link's eyes go wide.

"Ah!!!!!"The two of you scream at the top of your lungs before dashing off down the path where more Redead emerged as you passed them.The two of you make it to the entrance where a deep trench separated you from the freedom.You look down then back up at Link.

"We're gonna die!!"you yell.

"Not yet we're not! Come on!"Link quickly took out his grappling hook once more and flung it across the ditch, successfully embedding it in a rock. Link looked back at you.

"Come on!"he says.You shake your head and step back.

"Are you crazy? We'll fall into the trench there's no way thats gonna hold us!"you say.

"_______ it will hold now come on!It's that or get eaten by a bunch of hungry, scary I may add, Redeads!"Link shouts. He extends his hand to you."Trust me."You purse your lips and look over your shoulder, you could already see the Redeads catching up.

"_______! Now!"Quickly, you shut your eyes and take Link's hand. He then jumps off the cliff the two of you resided on and swung over to the other side, just as the Redeads approached.

With an 'oof',the two of you slam into the other side of the cliff,but Link manages to pull you and himself up.

"Ow! That hurt!"you say, rubbing your head.Link nodded.

"Yeah, but at least we're alive!"he says, pointing to the hungry growling Redeads on the other side. You stand up.

"Yeah lets get out of here Link."you sigh. Link nods and the two of you run out of the temple, smiling happily when the sunlight hit your skin.

Link smiled and fell to the ground. You do the same and lay beside him.

"Well..that was quite an adventure.."you say. Link nodded.

"Not a bad one for a couple twelve year olds."he giggles. You nod and sit up.

"Link.."you mumble.Link sits up as well.

"Yeah?"

"Thanks for saving me..er..us back there. You're a real hero."you say, lightly punching his arm. Link blushed and laid back down.

"Thanks ________.However, lets never speak of this adventure to anybody and if King of Red lions asks, we got lost looking for Medli."he says.You giggle and nod.

"Alright..But just so you know, I won't be able to sleep for weeks now!"Link chuckled.

"I heard that! Redeads are super scary!!"
